Snot Shot Privacy Policy
Snot Shot is a mobile game for iPhone. This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because the game collects very little.
Who we are
Snot Shot is made by Vibeonz, a trading name of Integrate Zone Ltd, a company registered in New Zealand. Integrate Zone Ltd is responsible for this app and this policy. For anything about this policy or your data, contact us at the address at the bottom of this page.
What we don't collect
Snot Shot has no accounts. We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or precise location, and we don't run our own servers that receive information about you.
Information stored on your device
Your scores, best runs, daily-challenge results, game settings and whether you bought Remove Ads are saved on your iPhone only. They are deleted when you delete the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows a banner on menu screens and an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect:
- device identifiers, including the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking when iOS asks;
- IP address, approximate location derived from it, device type and operating system;
- ad interactions, such as views and taps, and diagnostic data about ad performance.
Google uses this to show, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud. If you don't allow tracking, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalised using your advertising identifier. Players in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Legal basis. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), personalised ads are only shown with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Non-personalised ads and ad measurement rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the game free.
Google is an independent controller of the data it collects and protects it under its own privacy policy and data processing terms. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's privacy policy.
Your choices
- Privacy settings in the game. If consent applies where you live, open the game's Settings (⚙️) and tap Privacy settings to review, change or withdraw your ad consent at any time.
- Tracking. Turn tracking on or off in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- US state privacy rights. Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Utah), you can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. Use Privacy settings in the game's Settings to opt out. You can also ask us about your rights using the contact address below.
- Remove Ads. Buying Remove Ads turns off the banner ads.
Game Center (Apple)
If you're signed in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple's Game Center so they can appear on leaderboards. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and you can sign out in iOS Settings → Game Center.
Purchases
Remove Ads is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details. The game only checks with Apple whether the purchase is active.
Sharing
When you tap a share button, the game creates an image or short video of your run and hands it to the iOS share sheet or the app you choose. Nothing is shared unless you tap share, and we don't receive a copy. If you choose to save it to Photos, iOS asks for permission to add it to your library; the game can't read your photos.
How long data is kept
We don't keep any personal data on our own systems. Game data on your iPhone is kept until you delete the app. Data collected by Google for ads is kept according to Google's retention policy.
Children
Snot Shot is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we'll help remove it.
Your rights
Because we don't hold personal information about you on our own systems, most requests are best handled by deleting the app, changing your choices above, or contacting Google or Apple about data they hold. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to or restrict the processing of your information, and to withdraw consent. We'll help with any request we can and won't treat you differently for using these rights.
If you're in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In New Zealand, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
